Mechanical Designer
Beschrijving: Functiebeschrijving Je specificeert, ontwerp, ontwikkelt, construeert, implementeert en test mechanische en/of mechatronische subsystemen binnen de systeemspecificaties, kosten en planning. Je werkt samen met andere disciplines, afdelingen en toeleveranciers en draagt bij aan het uitbouwen en onderhouden van de technologische basis bij onze klant. Je past zelfstandig richtlijnen en (standaard) engineerings- en ontwikkeltechnieken toe en maakt aanpassingen en verbeteringen binnen de doelen en variabelen die aan jou toegekend zijn. Je bekijkt jouw oplossing ook vanuit andere technologische invalshoeken en komt zo tot creatieve oplossingen. Discipline Engineer
Beschrijving: Waar je gaat werken Binnen de afdeling Projects: Met de omvangrijke technische projecten die binnen de procestechnologie worden geïnitieerd gaat veel geld, tijd en risico gemoeid om aan de klantvraag te voldoen en de beste kwaliteit te leveren. Onze afdeling faciliteert deze projecten in opdracht van haar klanten via multidisciplinaire projectteams. Teams die zich kenmerken door een goed begrip van de scope, een effectieve samenwerking en een optimale mix van de benodigde expertise en kennis van Manufex werkprocessen en SHE-doelstellingen. Functiebeschrijving Als Discipline Engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren en (laten) uitvoeren van alle noodzakelijke activiteiten binnen een project binnen het vakgebied mechanical. Daarbij streef je continu naar een optimale verhouding tussen kwaliteit, kosten, tijd en risico. Concreet betekent dit dat jij je binnen het project op jouw vakgebied Mechanical bezighoudt met: · Het beoordelen en challengen van scopes op volledigheid, aanpak en duidelijkheid, als vertrekpunt van het project; · Het (laten) uitvoeren van het totale engineeringsproces volgens interne en externe standaarden en werkwijzen; · Het realiseren van de opdracht door o.a. het selecteren, beoordelen en begeleiden van toeleveranciers van diensten en producten (Contractor Guidance & Control); · Het coördineren van alle vereiste activiteiten tussen de diverse betrokken interne en externe partijen; · Het vaststellen van de benodigde resources en opstellen van begrotingen; · Het informeren en adviseren van de projectmanager over technische aspecten en voortgang. Vanuit de engineerings- en constructie fase organiseer en leid je de technische review meeting om te komen tot scope of work en scope of services. · Je beoordeelt of het engineeringspakket voldoet aan o.a. de wet- en regelgeving. · Je stelt vragen, bijv. als zaken niet passen (leidingen te kort of te lang) hoe gaan we dit oplossen. · Je moet met SAP werken Werkzaamheden: · Je werkt samen met diverse afdeling, zoals bijv. Operations support, met hen maak je samen de technische scope. · Daarnaast maak je ook: begrotingsscopes (iemand anders maakt de concrete begroting) · Uitbestedingsscope, je werkt samen met engineerings contractors als: Jacobs, Tebodin en uitvoerings contractors als: Stork en Cofely · Samen met de afdeling Maintenance en productie zorg je voor de goedkeuring en inspections (met behulp van Lloyds) Jij bent aanspreekpunt, je moet je mannetje kunnen staan! Field Service Engineer
Beschrijving: The position Knowledge of thermal management is applied by the candidate using state of the art tools, such as analytical (e.g. Matlab, Matcad, Excel) and numerical models (CFD/FEM tools, e.g. Ansys (experience is a pre), or Flotherm/EFD (can be learned very fast) or Ansys CFX to build models that describe the behavior of the products / systems. Thermal design solutions are proposed, evaluated and engineered in close cooperation with mechanical designers and other relevant experts. The candidate also executes experiments to validate the models and participates in (thermal) qualification tests. The requirements and competencies (Applied) Physics or aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering, with emphasis on heat & flow phenomena. · University degree (BSc./MSc./Ph.D.) Heat & flow, and preferably thermo-mechanical behavior of constructions. Experience and affinity with CFD/FEM modeling and be able to master quickly the relevant software tools: Ansys (FEM), Flotherm/EFD/Ansys CFX or Fluent (CFD tools). Experimental experience in heat & flow measurements is a prerequisite. Strong communication and team player skills are required. Pro-active approach and critical attitude. Eager to learn.
