Beschrijving: The virstual site of Global External Supply Europe (GES EU) is located in Zaventem, Belgium. With more than 120 contractors, 300 products and 4000 SKUs, it is the largest virtual site of Pfizer. As any other PGS site, the organisation includes operations, quality, technical services, finance, operational excellence, supply chain, procurement and EHS. Pfizer contractors are managed through virtual sites operation team including operations and all enabling function of the virtual site. GMS take the role of technical service for GES because of the complexity and the broad range of products, techcnologie and processes we manage. In Europe we have a dedicated team of 5 project managers and technical experts but we also use the expertise of GMS to leverage the power of the technical know how of PGS network to provide support for techical transfer, new product introduction and technical issue resolution from API to packaging. You will be joining the GES Europe dedicated team of GMS Drug Product Technical Services and transfer. You will be an active member of the Technical Service department of the Virtual Site and will provide technical expertise and project management skills in a broad and diverse type of projects and technologies. You will use your own technical expertise and network but you will also leverage the GMS technical network for additional technical expertise and resources as required to rapidly resolve technical issues and identify future technology driven opportunities to improve the supply of our quality products from external partners. You will also use the resources from all enabling function (contractor, COQA, CMC, SLS, GES,â?¦) to reach project objectives. For some project you will have to use resources outside of PGS (Pharm. Sc., OpBU,â?¦) Technical service: You will be a member of virtual site operational teams and you will be the voice of GMS in those team. You will report the progress of project affecting your contractor but also propose proactive project and look for any required technical resource to ensure a consistent supply of quality products. Product transfer & project management: With your team you will establish regulatory strategy and validation requirement, ensure timely and effective implementation of product transfer projects, product lifecycle changes and process improvements/enhancements at external suppliers managed by GES Europe. Technical due diligence and assembling technical packages are also part of the role.

Educatie: Technical expertise. Broad knowledge of drug product manufacturing processes is essential (knowledge should encompass solid, aseptic and liquid formulations). Experience with API and packaging processes is also important. Project leadership. You will lead teams of experts who will not report directly to you. Consequently, project management people management skills in a matrix organization is key. Also, well developed interpersonal skills (leadership, integrity, team orientation, flexibility and creativity) to drive projects and resolve conflicting resources priorities from your teams and the business units. Strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability to facilitate resolution of both business and technical issues. Technical transfer. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the quality and regulatory requirement for product transfer and experience with product transfer to another manufacturing site Education and experience. Manager: Minimum of a B.S. in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or a related science with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing or project management experience. Project management skills to include experience of successful delivery of projects on schedule and to budget. Sr. Manager: Minimum of 12 years of significant management experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing site including operational experience and/or technical services. Experience in leading cross-functional teams, ideally spanning at least two sites and involving several levels of an organization Ability to travel By essence, working with external contractor located across Europe requires to travel extensively. You should be ready to spend about 20% of you time in business travels. Other skills Sig sigma skills (black or green belt) is not required but is a must to help resolving technical issue. You will be fluent in English but knowledge of another European language is a plus Experience with external contractors is appreciated.
