For our office in Amsterdam European Merchant Services is currently looking for a: New Business Executive (Hunter) Purpose of the role of New Business Executive The New Business Executive is responsible for acquiring new prospects and relationship management of small to medium customers in the Benelux thru inside sales. The New Business Executive will be evaluated on generating new business and the retention and up selling to their existing portfolio for 13 months. Key Responsibilities New Business Executive - Investigate and identify business opportunities and act accordingly - Responsible for pipeline management - Participate in the beginning of the implementation process and continually stay involved as needed to ensure the prospects complete implementation (live and trading) - Determine and negotiate appropriate pricing by prospect (governed by pricing model) that generates as much revenue and profit possible while also securing the business - Maintaining and managing customer relationships during the first 13 months - Effective handover of customers toward the Account Management Team (Benelux) - Maintaining relationships with all relevant departments within EMS - Active participation in the team both professionally as socially Competencies - Excellent communication and negotiation skills at different levels - Strong commercial focus and result oriented - Customer focused (Value selling skills) - Self motivated individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment to achieve targets - Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently - Ability to articulate knowledge about products, services and value proposition to customers - Positive, pro-active and a hands-on mentality - Personal commitment to delivery - Eager to learn and develop in-depth understanding of the business of credit card acquiring and the commercial needs of this business Required Experience New Business Executive - Bachelor degree - Telesales experience in a B2B environment or higher level/ degree qualification with strong desire to develop a career in Telesales - Fluency and excellent writing skills in Dutch and English - Additional languages are preferred - Advanced computer literacy (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) Application: Are you interested in this position?
