De opdrachtgever Als jij van creditcontroller wil doorgroeien naar key accountmanager, kun jij nu aan de slag bij onze opdrachtgever: de grootste logistieke dienstverlener ter wereld. Onze opdrachtgever verzorgt wereldwijd het beheer en vervoer van brieven, goederen en gegevens. Deze logistieke reus is 40 jaar geleden opgericht in San Francisco en verbindt nu 220 landen met elkaar. Door de lucht, over zee en via de weg. De functie Het werk van een key accountmanager bij onze klant laat zich niet zo gemakkelijk omschrijven. We zoeken iemand met een achtergrond als credit controller en de ambitie om te slagen als key accountmanager. Als key accountmanager ben je verantwoordelijk voor een key account. Een belangrijke klant die met gemak miljoenen omzet. Jij bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor deze klant en daarmee ook het visitekaartje van onze opdrachtgever. Aan de ene kant zorg je er voor dat de klant waar jij verantwoordelijk voor bent op tijd betaald en haar verplichtingen na komt. Vandaar dat je ervaring moet hebben als creditcollector. Aan de andere kant is het jouw taak om de business van onze opdrachtgever verder uit te bouwen. Dat brengt tact, diplomatieke vaardigheden en accountmanagersvaardigheden met zich mee. Het zou fijn zijn als je ook wat ondernemersbloed hebt. Want in deze functie ben je echt verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig uitbouwen van het account. Dat doe je vanuit de vestiging in Maastricht maar deze functie brengt ook met zich mee dat je moet netwerken in het buitenland. Het profiel Het diploma wat je hebt is niet zo belangrijk. Een afgeronde MBO opleiding op niveau 4, een afgeronde HBO opleiding kan ook. Belangrijk is wel dat je vloeiend Engels spreekt en schrijft: de voertaal bij onze opdrachtgever is Engels. Belangrijk is ook dat je stevige ervaring hebt als creditcontroller, aanleg en ervaring als (key) accountmanager. Dat je je thuis voelt in een internationale omgeving en het leuk vindt om af en toe zelf in het vliegtuig te stappen om je accounts of je collega's in het buitenland te bezoeken. Ook je persoonlijke vaardigheden zijn belangrijk. Als key accountmanager wordt van je verwacht dat je een presentatie kunt houden, dat je mensen kunt overtuigen en dat je echt een businesspartner bent. Je moet op hoog niveau kunnen opereren. Zowel intern als bij je accounts. Verder wordt er een groot beroep gedaan op je vasthoudendheid, je accuratesse en je grondigheid. Je moet dingen echt tot op de bodem willen en kunnen uitzoeken, oplossingen kunnen aandragen en zelfstandig kunnen werken. Het aanbod Het salaris is belangrijk, dat weet onze opdrachtgever ook.
