Je werkt als International Business Controller voor de Europese organisatie, wat inhoudt dat je op financieel terrein een leidende, sturende rol inneemt binnen het Europese team. Daarnaast treed je op als financieel adviseur voor de diverse afdelingen, voer je het volledige repertoire controllertaken uit met focus op maandelijkse en jaarlijkse rapportages, financiÃ«le analyses, planning en budgettering. Jouw team (afdeling Accounting), waaraan je leidinggeeft, steunt je uiteraard in de uitvoering van je taken, waarbij je de ruimte krijgt om de werkwijze en procedures binnen je afdeling naar eigen inzicht in te richten. En je functie reikt verder, naar een meer strategisch niveau, als het gaat om analyseren van eventuele overnames van andere bedrijven of het meewerken / aanvoeren van due diligence onderzoeken. Dan heeft jouw rol en jouw advies direct betrekking op corporate strategy en sta je rechtstreeks in verbinding met Chicago. Over Chicago gesproken; ook letterlijk reikt je functie verder; meetings op diverse locaties in Europa en natuurlijk in de hoofdkantoor in Chicago. HBO richting Accountancy is de basis, bij voorkeur echter academisch opgeleid, bijvoorbeeld (aanvullende) MBA. Ruime ervaring (rondom 10 jaar) in controlling en accounting. GAAP en ERP zijn vertrouwd voor je. En je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands, Engels en Duits. En heel belangrijk, je kunt middels je c.v. aantonen dat je gaat voor continu?eit. The Group Business Controller will report directly to the Corporate Controller (who reports to the CFO).
