Management Reporting Specialist

The Challenge Purpose of the role To produce and maintain an overall view of management reporting within the SBU's. To monitor standardization and accuracy of data provided by SBU's and to ensure sufficient challenges are provided to the SBU’s Economic Business Support on the reports. In addition, to consolidate SBU management reporting data and work with SBU Performance and Review Lead to formulate guidelines, policies and procedures on SBU management reporting. In this position you will report directly to the Manager Global Management Reporting and Decision whom is based in Riyadh. Responsibilities Work with SBU Performance and Review Lead to develop guidelines and policies for SBU management reporting and support implementation for the management reporting tools, process and timelines. Standardise management report formats, KPIs and timeline across all SBU's. Analyse and report on KPI's, financial and operational variances between actual and plan for all SBU's. Perform variance analysis against budget for SBU's and provide adequate and meaningful explanations and commentary on variances. Ensure the SBU management reports are consistent with statutory reporting (segment reporting) and reconcile all differences. Provide business intelligence and analysis on the competitive landscape, identify SBU specific issues and comments on the industry and macroeconomic trends. Compare group performances with industry benchmarks and competitors. Conduct monthly review with SBU’s Economic Business Support. Ensure SBU management reporting tools to allow delivery of data that are consistent and in line with guidelines and policies. Work with SBU Performance and Review Lead, SBU's and other stakeholders to design and update management reporting tools as necessary, and communicate updated tools to SBU's and Economic Business Support. Ensure consistency across SBU management reports. Verify and finalize SBU data and prepare executive commentary. Produce required material for CFO or other stakeholders on Quarterly Performance Reviews for the SBU's. Help to facilitate internal financial audits. Your Profile Minimum undergraduate degree in quantitative or technical subject, finance or business education degree preferred. Up to date technical accounting knowledge with a recognized accountancy qualification (e.g. CPA, CA or CIMA) a pre-requisite. Minimum 5 years of post-qualifications professional experience in finance roles. At least 3 years financial and management reporting experience, with management reporting in a complex multi-entity environment strongly preferred. Previous experience in consolidations or statutory reporting advantageous. Thorough SAP experience in all integration and consolidation areas including GL, PCA, CCA and ECCS modules is a pre-requisite. Experience in other SABIC functional areas or other reporting roles desirable. Computer literacy required - ability to prepare presentations, reports and spreadsheets. As a person you have / are: Organization skills. Quantitative & analytical skills. Written & oral communication skills. Fluent in business English. Cultural awareness.
