Beschrijving: Senior Business Controller bij De Nederlandsche Bank Je verricht onderzoek ten behoeve van investeringsbeslissingen en adviseert over businesscases. Je fungeert als voortrekker in verschillende samenwerkingsverbanden en als aanspreekpunt en coach voor collega’s. Je verbetert, coördineert, voert uit en bewaakt de planning en controlcyclus van DNB. Je begeleidt complexe verandertrajecten. Ik zoek een ervaren business controller die opereert als sparringpartner voor het management en de directie van DNB. Je biedt inzicht in de performance van de organisatie en ondersteunt en adviseert de business bij strategische, bedrijfseconomische en besturingsvraagstukken. Je bent mede verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie, uitvoering en bewaking van de planning en controlcyclus van DNB. Waar nodig initieer en implementeer je verbeteringen. Kandidaat Je bent resultaatgericht en beschikt over een helikopterview. Je bent gericht op het creëren van draagvlak met een goed gevoel voor (politieke) verhoudingen. Je bent initiërend, pragmatisch en creatief. Je beschikt over een afgeronde academische opleiding, bij voorkeur richting bedrijfseconomie of bedrijfskunde. Een postdoctorale controlleropleiding (bijvoorbeeld RC of CMA) is een pre. Je hebt 5 tot 10 jaar werkervaring in een relevante functie, waarvan 4 jaar als business controller. Je beschikt over ruime ervaring met (strategische) advisering. Je communicatieve vaardigheden zijn uitstekend. Divisie De belangrijkste taak van de afdeling Finance is het ondersteunen van management en directie om de prestaties, slagvaardigheid en wendbaarheid van de organisatie verder te verbeteren en de besturing hierop af te stemmen. Met het oog op de vele veranderingen binnen en buiten DNB is het van belang dat management en directie beschikken over juiste en tijdige (stuur)informatie. We stimuleren en begeleiden de managers in de organisatie (veelal hoogstaande professionals) om meer plan- en bedrijfsmatig te opereren in hun taakgebied. Verantwoordelijkheden van de afdeling zijn strategievorming, planning & control, management informatie, risicobeheersing, (proces)optimalisatieprojecten, financiële verantwoording en gevraagd en ongevraagd advies. | Group Business Controller At Lime Search&connection Beschrijving: For our client, a large dutch multinational listed on the stock exchange, we are currently looking for a Group Business Controller. The Group Business Controller will report directly to the Corporate Controller (who reports to the CFO). He/she will support, directly, the Corporate Controller and, (in)directly, the Executive Board and Business Unit /Business Group ( BU/BG) MT in decision making concerning Finance & Control and Business matters. The role will be based at the companies headquarters in Amersfoort. Group Business Controller Main responsibility areas: - Support the Planning & Control cycle, starting from the strategy process, through the 3 year development plan and finalising with the operational budgets. - Financial and business analysis of the actual performance compared to plan and to the performance of peers. - Prepare management information. - Prepare guidelines and instructions to facilitate the (separate) process(es) and to ensure an adequate reporting. Support the CFO and Corporate Controller in decision making and advising of Senior Management on proposals to acquisitions and capital expenditures, divestments and reorganisations, by Performing investigations and analysis in line with corporate guidelines Preparing position papers and presentations Support the Finance and Administration functions Define and support in the preparation of corporate policies and projects Support the finance functions of the CFO team Ad hoc participation in project teams for: Business developments (acquisitions, integrations, business improvements, synergies) if applicable Finance and admin developments (reporting systems, control environment, policies) Assist in the preparation and presentations of the annual and half year accounts Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience and achievements to date: - Masters degree in Business Economics/administration preferably with a post qualification (RA/CA/CPA or CMA/CIMA/RC). - At least 6-8 years experience of progressively financial appointments. - Able to meet tight and complex reporting requirements. - Preferably experience in manufacturing environment. - Experience in Business Control as well as Corporate Control issues. “Must have” competences include: - Outstanding administration skills, with the ability to review and improve systems and procedures with the emphasis being on efficiency rather than unnecessary bureaucracy. - Knowledge of the various cultures and international ways of working. Able to adapt plans, strategies and processes in ways suited to local cultures and customs. - A good mix of technical financial knowledge on the one hand, and commercial acumen and business management skills on the other hand. - Being a business professional, comfortable with talking to, and influencing, senior decision makers. - The ability to become a trusted advisor to senior management, not just on financial issues but also commercial, strategic and organizational matters. - Well organized, with a disciplined approach to evaluating priorities in a fast changing environment. - Excellent multi-lingual communication skills, verbal and written.
