These four complete the Univest Company’s Leadership Team. Two Directors of Investments report to the CIO in Rotterdam, as well as working in close conjunction with the CIIA in London and the COO to provide advice to Unilever’s pension funds around the globe with regard to investment strategy and implementation. These Directors will also initiate design and redesign of investment products, manage these products directly and/or appoint external managers to manage and monitor these products. The Univest Company would like to strengthen her team with a: Portfolio Manager Equities Main job purpose The Portfolio Manager Equities conducts frequent contact with world-class fund managers, owners and/or senior executive committee members of, among others, top investment management firms and investment banks. Besides implementing the portfolio within the risk profile and the investment guidelines and providing support in fee/price negotiations with these counter parties, you are responsible for developing relationships with (specialist) brokers/investment banks, investment managers and investment advisors. Key activities Univest Pooled Vehicles: • Co-manage Multi-Client six Pooled Regional Equities Funds; • Support the Univest Company Senior Portfolio Managers in Equities and Alternatives (private equity, real estate and commodities); • Work with/for Unilever pension funds directly on projects and working on presentations to country trustee boards and the Investment Committee or Leadership team of Univest Company; • Support the Director of Equities in his role as thought leader; • Analyse the financial and reputational risk for the Unilever Group. Unilever Pension Funds: • Monitor European Small Cap and US Small Cap Value equities mandates; • Monitor Global private equity mandates; • Help with policy (re-)design for the commodity portfolios. Monitoring an internally managed European ex. UK equity portfolio of €300m in assets; • Support the monitoring of the indirect real estate investments; • Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA): Participating in the weekly investor meeting value; • The implementation of risk management analysis. Project Portfolio Manager
Beschrijving: Job Summary As a Project Manager a Portfolio of Engineering Projects will be assigned to you. You will reside in the Technical Department, the shared services organization to support our Manufacturing and Operations organization. Project Portfolio Managers work together as a team in the Project Engineering Group. You will put you leadership and management skills to oversee the delivery of our Engineering Services while projects are in design phase, but you will also be in charge of Project Construction while projects are in the execution phase. Take care of costumer issues and lead to deliver services as required for the successful outcome of the projects. The Project Manager's role is to be overall responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and close-out of the projects that have been entrusted to you. By using your fine sense of importance a unique mix of technical, creative and interpersonal skills, you will guide your expert teams to identify issues and come up with practical solutions for changes to our facilities and assets. You participate, lead and motivate, the expectations are high and budgets are lean this drives you to set your teams challenges. Guiding the way and focus on the positive outcome of the project to ensure flawless start-up. Main responsibilities: Facilitate communication with the rest of the organization Bring together the right group of stakeholders to influence the projects basics Interface with the section heads and site leaders to ensure proper design services Develop teams to cope with design requirements Oversee development and provide knowledge where necessary Continuously provide insight in Project Controls for the portfolio in-hands Set up and align sourcing strategy to ensure proper Project Execution.
