Voor ons kantoor in Leiden hebben wij een vacature voor een Project Manager Continual Improvement Functie-inhoud vacature Project Manager Om onze werkzaamheden binnen Dutch Space, uniform, gestandaardiseerd en efficiĂ«nter te maken, zijn we op zoek naar een Project Manager Continual Improvement. In deze functie zul je je primair bezig gaan houden met verbeterprojecten en het adviseren van de Head of Quality en de Director Operations & Engineering over kwaliteits- en procesverbeteringen. Als Project Manager Continual Improvement coördineer je de verbeterprogramma’s binnen Operations & Engineering en definieer je projectvoorstellen voor verbetertrajecten. Daarnaast ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor de implementatie van deze verbetertrajecten. Dit betekent ondermeer dat je een projectplan opstelt voor o.a. de projectplanning, -sturing, processen en procedures en risico’s. Ook draag je zorg voor de juiste bemensing en de benodigde middelen voor het project. Daarnaast bewaak je de voortgang en zorg je voor reguliere rapportages aan het management en je opdrachtgevers. In het kader van de nazorg definieer je Key Performance Indicators om de resultaten van verbeteringsprojecten na oplevering te blijven monitoren. Vanuit je functie als Project Manager Continual Improvement treedt je tevens op als contactpersoon richting EADS Astrium en bent vanuit die rol verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie van de bedrijfsoverkoepelende verbeteringsprogramma’s Functie-eisen Je hebt een afgeronde opleiding op WO niveau aangevuld met 5 tot 10 jaar relevante werkervaring bij voorkeur op het gebied van projectmanagement en/ of verbeterprojecten. Je hebt ervaring met het werken binnen procesmatige, productieomgeving en met het werken in een matrixorganisatie. Je hebt oog voor de noodzaak tot kwaliteitsverbeteringen binnen een organisatie en bent in staat om zelfstandig passende actie te ondernemen. Je weet complexe klantwensen te vertalen naar concrete plannen en toont daarbij inzicht in de belangen en krachtenvelden binnen en buiten de organisatie. The Project Manager Field Introduction fulfills this need by bridging the gap between new product development and the worldwide customer logistics operations. Job Description As Project Manager Field Introduction, you’ll make a real difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by determining and managing the logistics project plan of new products, its risks, Field introduction strategies and requirements at product level. You manage associated detailed logistics supply chain plans including the timely order & delivery of service materials, critical path management and release-for-maintenance. To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, creative and interpersonal skills and you’ll guide and coordinate your team of logistics specialists. Main responsibilities • Define and manage the logistics plans (project plan, product plans, detailed demand & supply plans) and deliverables based on the development master plan until release for volume in the factory and the field; • Make and maintain agreements with stakeholders on field inventory service levels, spares stocking strategy, product material plan, inventory and material availability; • Plan & mobilize resources within sector Manufacturing & Logistics to fulfill the plans; • Identify bottle necks and take actions towards engineering, customer support, supply chain to manage the critical path and drive material availability; • Interface to Customer support teams in Veldhoven and in the field. Educational Level BSc or MSc (industrial) engineering. Experience • > 10 years relevant experience in new product introductions in customer support logistics, supply chain or production in high tech-low volume environments; • Proven project management skills. Personal Skills • Excellent professional communication in both English and Dutch Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure; • Coaching project team members.
