Abengoa Bioenergy Netherlands is looking for an Role To support the ABN Logistic Manager and the ABN Logistic team to assure; continuous availability of cereals and raw materials, including chemicals, for the ABN plant continuous availability to transfer and dispatch all final products and co-products contract fulfillment by coordinating shipping and receiving needs for all internal and external customers, Customs / External Authority & Agency relations Information reporting and administration Inventory control. Delegate for the Logistic Manager when needed. Responsibilities and tasks High level commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental performance To execute the responsibilities and activities of the ABN logistic department specific to cereal supply and finished product and co-product dispatch To ensure compliance with the expense and investment budget of the ABN logistics area. To detect material and budgetary variances and make appropriate and timely decisions in order to resolve issues To assure the compliance of organization policies and to fulfill the objectives corresponding to the management activities by putting into practice: planning, organizing and control. To participate in defining the corresponding policies for the organization’s activities. To plan the execution of activities by defining the actions, resources and time frame required to achieve the established objectives. To set, communicate and achieve objectives. Integrate logistical activities with ABN production and maintenance activity Required Skills & Experience Team player, can both lead, manage and integrate into an effective team Positive attitude, commitment and flexibility Experience of budgetary control. Beschrijving: Doel van deze functie is het verhogen van de bezettingsgraad van de eigen tankcontainers, het herstellen van de balans in het netwerk en ervoor zorgen dat de juiste tankcontainer op het juiste tijdstip op de juiste plaats is. De Assistant Manager Operations Intermodal is verantwoordelijk voor de aansturing van het kostenbewust plannen van containertransportopdrachten teneinde een optimale en efficiÃ«nte inzet te realiseren, minimaal rekening houdend met de wensen en eisen van de klant. De met de klanten afgesproken performance levels dienen als minimum behaald te worden, waarbij de additionele toegevoegde waarde voortkomt uit continuous improvement voorstellen, zowel intern als extern in de uitvoering van de dagdagelijkse operationele activiteiten. Taken: Leidinggeven - Stuurt de werkzaamheden van de Transport Coordinators Central Tankcontainer Planning (CTCP) hiÃ«rarchisch aan. - Stuurt de werkzaamheden van de Teamleaders Intermodal Operational Control Centers (OCC) functioneel aan. - Zorgt voor een efficiÃ«nt en effectief werkend team. - Ziet toe op een doelgerichte voortgang van de werkzaamheden en de navolging van richtlijnen, procedures en normen. Bewaakt en waarborgt de kwaliteit van de werkzaamheden. - Verricht personele taken. - Begeleidt structureel werkoverleg. - Is verantwoordelijk voor selectie en introductie van nieuwe Transport Coordinators Central Tankcontainer Planning (CTCP) en het voeren van functionerings- en beoordelingsgesprekken. - Levert input aan de Operations Manager Europe inzake het functioneren van de Teamleaders Operational Control Centers (OCC). Plannen van tankcontainercapaciteit en adviseren/sturen van de planning - Signaleert op pro-actieve wijze problemen en ziet mogelijkheden (in de planning), ondersteunt en adviseert de planning en neemt actie waar nodig. - Beoordeelt risicos van gemaakte afspraken en calculeert deze in, realiseert afspraken met andere logistieke organisaties voor het kopen en verkopen van tankcontainercapaciteit. - Ziet erop toe dat containers tijdig worden aangeboden t.b.v. keuringen en reparaties. - Geeft bij de Operations Manager Europe aan of de vloot tijdelijk of structureel uitgebreid danwel ingekrompen dient te worden. - Stelt richtlijnen op voor het re-positioneren van tankcontainers. Onderhouden van klantrelaties - Communiceert met klanten in geval van escalaties. - Signaleert (interne) problemen, ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden betreffende de operationele dienstverlening, doet voorstellen tot verbetering en zorgt voor (interne) acceptatie van de wensen van de klant. - Ondersteunt de klant bij het inrichtingen van operationele procedures bij de klant en signaleert mogelijkheden om de processen bij de klant te verbeteren. - Bewaakt of de door de commerciÃ«le afdeling afgesproken marge daadwerkelijk wordt gerealiseerd en onderneemt actie bij gesignaleerde afwijkingen.
