Beschrijving: The Challenge In this position your main challenge is to contribute to maximizing the business revenues against minimal costs and working capital by further developing the planning and scheduling optimization concepts for SCP Chemicals. You will maintain complex models on detailed level and keeping them in sink with plant developments and constraints. You need to introduce multisite optimization and need to balance short term operational issues with longer term planning/projects. Further building the capability on the newly designed planning framework of AspenTech and SAP is essential as well. Evaluation of new feedstocks and planning (tools) and being expert for the tactical team are important. The same goes for being able to function as consultant in complex planning issues. To be successful in this role you need to work with different cultures and changing business requirements and need to convince others of new ways of working related to the outcome of the optimization. Planning Support for the Global SCM organisation with optimizing the flows in the global network are key. In order to accomplish the above mentioned tasks, you will hierarchically lead an Application Manager AspenTech and a Process Planning Analist. You will report to the Manager Supply Chain Planning. Department The Supply Chain Chemicals department is responsible for planning, handling and distribution of around 14 Mton of chemicals in Europe. The Planning department is responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain at operational, tactical and strategic level. The aim of the Supply Chain is to provide customer services and achieve minimum interruption to sales while maximizing overall value. Your Profile Master of Science, preferably in Chemical Engineering. SCM / Economics / Business Administration in addition is a plus. APICS certified. In-depth knowledge of modelling; PIMS and AOS. Affinity with the SC Planning process; the Polymer & Chemicals Business and Sales & Marketing. Knowledge of cracker and aromatics manufacturing processes. | Planning Process Analyst - Scm Chemicals Beschrijving: Department The Supply Chain Management department is responsible for the planning and optimisation of the production assets in Europe and planning the import flows. The total volume is around 14 Mton of feedstock and base chemicals in Europe. The Planning department takes care of long and short term planning, both in terms of demand, supply and inventory. Given the complex nature of the optimisation the Planning department is using LP tools to support the feedstock selection and manufacturing optimisation. These tools form the heart of the total planning solution. The Challenge Main target for the Planning Analyst is to support the overall planning process by using our optimisation tools to identify business opportunities and directly influence the business decisions. This is done on an operational, tactical and strategic level. Main tasks are: Use the optimisations models as an expert user being able to optimise the overall business strategy. Assessment of large investment projects. Identify bottlenecks within the operational domain and build business cases to improve them. Identify cracking values for feedstock purchasing. Your Profile You have obtained a University degree in Econometrics, Operations Research or similar, with a specialisation or an additional education in supply chain optimisation or Chemical Engineering with a specialization on modelling. You have at least 2 years of experience in modelling. You possess a strong capability to think in processes, firm analytic and conceptual reasoning skills. You have a strong affinity with modelling tools. Knowledge of Aspentech is a pre. You are a team player, result oriented, good communicator, stress tolerant. You have a strong drive for improvements, a firm personality and show leadership skills Your knowledge of English is excellent (verbally and in writing) and preferably also in Dutch. | Project Manager Supply Chain Improvements - Scm Chemicals Beschrijving: Department Within the Strategic Business Unit Chemicals, Supply Chain Chemicals is responsible for planning, order management, sourcing & contracting and improvements. In Europe, the volumes handled consist of around 15 Mton of feedstock and base chemicals. Within Supply Chain Chemicals, the department Supply Chain Improvements is responsible for the project portfolio to build and improve European Supply Chain capabilities. The department works closely together with IT, Finance, Fiscal, Legal and the Manufacturing sites in Europe. The Challenge Responsible for managing supply chain projects at tactical and strategic level to continuously improve the performance of the total Value Chain with regard to supply chain planning, site logistics, order and transport management. Responsible for delivering projects within Chemicals and Performance Chemicals business processes and supply network design. Defining, scoping, managing and delivering multidisciplinary multi-products projects in line with the SABIC strategy to contribute to growth and maximizing the business revenues against minimal costs and working capital. Most important responsibilities: Responsible for defining, managing and delivering projects within agreed time and budget. Stakeholder commitment and alignment. Gain commitment and approval within SABIC: sites, business units, Steering Committees, business process owners, Value Teams and international counterparts. Gain commitment and approval outside SABIC: local & regional government and business environment (e.g. suppliers, customers and competitors). Perform and report feasibility studies through business case analyses, pilots and analyses of existing business processes to identify fields of improvement with regard to costs, QESH and logistic performance. Scoping and setting up the business case for approval. Multi-project budget and project recourses responsibility. Your Profile Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Econometrics, or Process Engineering. Certification and at least 5 years experience in Project and Change Management Preferably certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. SCOR, APICS). Preferably experience in supply chain in an international business environment, safety management, bulk liquid handling, warehousing and distribution. Fluent in English language You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and besides that you are a teamplayer, result oriented, good communicator, stress tolerant and able to work in a multicultural environment. You have a strong drive for improvement and excellent planning & organizing skills to manage this. You are able to use modelling techniques.
