Beschrijving: Department The Supply Chain Polymers department is responsible for planning, order handling, warehousing and distribution of around 3 Million ton of polymers in Europe. The Planning department takes care of long and short term planning, both in terms of demand, supply, inventory and transportation. The Challenge The main target of the research assignment is to develop a model which can be used for the optimal and safety stock calculations with the objective to create value across the supply chain. Within this challenge the following sub-questions have been defined: Improve the safety & optimal stock calculations ¬ How to deal with under- and over forecasting? ¬ What is the probability distribution to be used? Steer the decision making on inventory capacity planning ¬ How to link optimal silo/warehouse rent to the optimal stock calculations? ¬ How to decide on split fixed vs variable silo/warehouse rent? ¬ How to deal with stock rotations? Incorporate Service Level Differentiation to the optimal & safety stock calculations ¬ How to balance stocks with customer segments? ¬ Which grade mix and stock volumes should be used per segment? The Challenge SABIC's IT Process Enablement Department is now hiring a 'SAP Consultant Supply Chain Planning'. In this position you are going to add value on the execution of the functional designing part for the supply chain business processes, and make sure that we have the best-fit to the business. Preparation of the proper documentation (Process design in ARIS, Business blue print, Functional specifications, etc.) to the different stake holders within the domain and business units are essentials. You will standardize and assist in configuring these processes in SAP SCP. Next to that participation in major (improvement) projects is involved and you will advise on change proposals to SCP processes and their impact on the SAP-Systems. To be successful in this role you need to expose a drive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, by securing a smooth running system, and improving the supply chain processes. You have a clear focus on supply chain planning essentials and you deliver what you promised. Collaborating with business process specialist in other areas to ensure smooth and integrated business processes are key to success. Of course advising on new SAP developments and opportunities in the supply chain area belong to your job as well. In this position you will report to the IT Leader Process Enablement - SBU whom is based in Jubail (KSA). Your Profile Master Degree in IT or a related field in Business Administration. APICS CPIM certification is a pre. At least 3-6 years of experience with (global) business process design and re-engineering. In-depth knowledge of SAP SCM(APO). Broad knowledge of SCM processes. Experience in a bulk Manufacturing environment and in an international business environment. As an experienced professional you have/are: Able to make a functional business process design and documentation of IT, according to the agreed standards like ARIS. | Project Manager Supply Chain Improvements - Scm Chemicals Beschrijving: Department Within the Strategic Business Unit Chemicals, Supply Chain Chemicals is responsible for planning, order management, sourcing & contracting and improvements. In Europe, the volumes handled consist of around 15 Mton of feedstock and base chemicals. Within Supply Chain Chemicals, the department Supply Chain Improvements is responsible for the project portfolio to build and improve European Supply Chain capabilities. The department works closely together with IT, Finance, Fiscal, Legal and the Manufacturing sites in Europe. The Challenge Responsible for managing supply chain projects at tactical and strategic level to continuously improve the performance of the total Value Chain with regard to supply chain planning, site logistics, order and transport management. Responsible for delivering projects within Chemicals and Performance Chemicals business processes and supply network design. Defining, scoping, managing and delivering multidisciplinary multi-products projects in line with the SABIC strategy to contribute to growth and maximizing the business revenues against minimal costs and working capital. Most important responsibilities: Responsible for defining, managing and delivering projects within agreed time and budget. Stakeholder commitment and alignment. Gain commitment and approval within SABIC: sites, business units, Steering Committees, business process owners, Value Teams and international counterparts. Gain commitment and approval outside SABIC: local & regional government and business environment (e.g. suppliers, customers and competitors). Perform and report feasibility studies through business case analyses, pilots and analyses of existing business processes to identify fields of improvement with regard to costs, QESH and logistic performance. Scoping and setting up the business case for approval. Multi-project budget and project recourses responsibility. Your Profile Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Econometrics, or Process Engineering. Certification and at least 5 years experience in Project and Change Management Preferably certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. SCOR, APICS). Preferably experience in supply chain in an international business environment, safety management, bulk liquid handling, warehousing and distribution. Fluent in English language You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and besides that you are a teamplayer, result oriented, good communicator, stress tolerant and able to work in a multicultural environment. You have a strong drive for improvement and excellent planning & organizing skills to manage this. You are able to use modelling techniques.
