Department The role is to support the Advanced Technology programs of the SABIC Innovative Plastics SBU and is based in Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands. The Challenge General Description: The Advanced programs technologist is responsible for the following key elements: All Scientific development related activities associated with prioritization & On-time project execution. Driving programs with cross-functional team members to ensure on time execution delivery. Technical role model through mentoring, delivering on programs and leadership in external impact. Development of external relationships and open innovation in project area. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Lead & execute projects across chemistry, material science and process technology to enable the fundamental understanding of the technologies & mature the technical understanding to enable critical business decisions on the future project direction. Critical skills emphasized are creativity with sound scientific methodology, including in depth knowledge of open literature and intellectual property, use of statistical tools, to develop a fundamental understanding in the project subject matter and robust project management. Accountable for the on time delivery of projects by defining the definition, structure, the resources needed for the project, timing, and milestones. Driving the execution on deliverables of self and other team members. Responsible for being self-directed. Driving & delivering on multiple programs. Prioritizing the execution on those programs versus commitments and timing while maintaining focus on goals and objectives. Work effectively with Technology Manager, Product Marketing, and Manufacturing and Business Unit product development groups globally to deliver on technical concepts and capabilities that drive business growth. Grow into a recognized technical expert in an area of strategic interest, developing and executing upon new ideas. Effective project communication, reporting, & documentation across the organization. Utilize statistical methodologies to drive project success. Your Profile Qualifications/Requirements: PhD in Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science or Material Science/Engineering and at least 5 years of work experience. Demonstrated creativity and skill in analysis of literature and intellectual property landscape. Demonstrated project management experience, prioritization skills and ability to meet operational metrics and deadlines. Demonstrated scientific methodology and statistical skills. Demonstrated knowledge and scientific aptitude in the study of polymeric rheology and characterization techniques. Proven industrial experience in development to scaling of sheet and film processes and the development sheet & film products. Proven analytical and problem solving skills in research or applied industrial environment. Proven ability to work effectively across organization levels and functions to achieve desired results with demonstrated interpersonal, communication and team skills. Product Manager - American Express - Amsterdam
Beschrijving: De marketing afdeling International Consumer Card & Small Business Services vertegenwoordigt alle producten en diensten die samenhangen met de American Express Card voor consumenten en het MKB. De verkoop geschiedt zowel direct aan de consument, bijvoorbeeld The Gold Card of The Green Card, als indirect door middel van partnerships, zoals de Flying Blue American Express kaart. Als Product Managemer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van de product markt proposities voor een gedeelte van de product portfolio (Blue, Green, Business) die leiden tot grotere winstgevendheid.
