M&a Valuation Associate

    Beschrijving: Bedrijfsprofiel: M&A Valuation Associate Vacature M&A Valuation Associate voor een internationaal snel groeiende consultancy organisatie. Het interessante aan deze rol is dat je breed inzetbaar kan zijn en verschillende vraagstukken zult oppakken op het gebied van transaction support, valuation en corporate recovery services. Ze zijn actief in 8 landen en je zult bij sommige opdrachten samenwerken met de consultants in die landen. In totaal werken hier zo'n 200 consultants en op het kantoor in Nederland 15. Functieomschrijving: M&A Valuation Associate Als M&A Valuation Associate werk je op projectmatige basis in teams van financieel specialisten van deze organisatie, de cliënt en mogelijk ook andere adviseurs. Als M&A valuation associate ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren en coordineren van projecten. Ook zul je het werk van de analisten reviewen. Opdrachten zijn afwisselend op het gebied van: * Transaction support: identificeren van financiele risico's, rapporten voor financiering, due diligence onderzoeken * Valuation / waarderingen: opstellen en analyseren van waarderingen ten behoeve van acquisitie * Corporate Recovery: Onderzoeken ten behoeve van financiële- en operationele herstructurering of optimalisatie van ondernemingen en/of bedrijfsonderdelen * Onderzoeken ten behoeve van het oplossen van juridische conflictsituaties * Business Analyses: marktanalyses, heel concreet kwantificeren van informatie Als Associate zul je ook meegaan naar de klant op locatie. Verder zul je bij internationale opdrachten samenwerken met je collega's van de internationale kantoren. Functiecriteria: M&A Valuation Associate * Aantal jaar (2 tot 5) relevante werkervaring bijvoorbeeld bij een accountants- of advieskantoor of als analist binnen een private equity partij * WO opleiding richting finance, economie (eventueel aangevuld met relevante cursussen dan wel postdoctorale opleidingen (RA, RC of RV) * Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal * Een kwantitatieve opleiding en/of achtergrond is een grote pré * Uitstekend analytisch vermogen en snel in staat overzicht in chaos te creëren * Flexibele en ondernemende werkhouding en teamplayer * In staat om ook onder tijdsdruk effectief te blijven en kwalitatief hoogwaardig werk af te leveren. Valuation Analyst (financiële Producten)
Beschrijving: Bedrijfsprofiel Valuation Analyst (financiële producten) Valuation Analyst gezocht voor het wholesale & investment gedeelte van een grote bank. Deze functie is op de mid office product control afdeling binnen Finance & Control en je zult werkzaam zijn in een internationaal team. Functiebeschrijving Valuation Analyst (financiële producten) Als valution analyst ben je verantwoordelijk voor de controls binnen mid office van de business die onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid valt. Deze afdeling zorgt ervoor dat alle financiële producten- en portefeuilles op de correcte manieren gewaardeerd worden zoals equity derivatives, (credit) bonds, interest derivatives (linear en non-linear). Werzaamheden: * Price testing; calculaties en analyses van de waarden van de portefeuilles en de impact en risico's van miscalculaties * Monitoren en analyseren van correcties op waarderingen en zorgen voor het valideren van de correcties die zijn gedaan op de waardering van de portfolio's * Off-market trade detection; checken of transacties 'over the counter' (buiten de beurs) zijn gedaan tegen de juiste marktwaardes * Controleren van trades; verificatie van de gebruikte waarderingsmodellen die zijn gebruikt bij non-linear en structured trades * Optreden als sparringpartner voor de business en het opleveren van de juiste informatie aan het management en auditors Deze afdeling heeft een belangrijke rol in het opzetten van nieuwe business en daarbij implementeren van systemen en het verbeteren van processen en controls. Je zult ook participeren in projecten, dit kunnen ad hoc activiteiten zijn maar ook bijvoorbeeld bij grote projecten met betrekking tot bepaalde systemen. Als valuation analyst moet je goede communicatieve vaardigheden hebben, analystisch sterk zijn en resultaatgericht.
