Business Analyst - Scm Chemicals
Beschrijving: Department The Supply Chain Chemicals department is responsible for planning, order handling and distribution of around 8 Mton of chemicals in Europe. The Planning department takes care of long and short term planning, both in terms of demand, supply and inventory. The Challenge In the position of Business Analyst - SCM Chemicals you are going to act between Supply Chain Planning and IT in a Chemicals environment. You will contribute to maximizing the business revenues against minimal costs and working capital by further developing the planning and scheduling optimization concepts for SCP Chemicals. You will analyze and solve abnormal deviations in behaviour and/or results of PIMS and AOS applications, including their interfaces to other systems (e.g. IP-21 and SAP) and applications (e.g. Spyro). You will also collect and analyze required changes in AOS and PIMS models (NL and UK), application configurations and system interfaces (R/3, APO, IP21). Providing 2nd-line support and advice to users, validating functional specifications and translating them into technical specification and planning and implementing changes in models and/or application configurations (or act as technical project leader) are in the job as well. The same goes for coordinating upgrades of new AspenOne releases and implementation of patches and for creating test plans for own use, performing tests and reporting results. Supporting key-users to create and carry out test plans are your responsibility as well. Managing user authoritzations, maintaining training material (using key-user input) and maintaining procedures/work instructions (using key-user input) also belong to your responsibilities. To be successful in this role you need to build up and maintain relationships with both internal and external parties, like (key-)users, SAP Application Manager(s) and the AspenOne Technical Manager, IT and Technology&Information departments, Aspentech (external). Your Profile At least a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (strongly preferred), Economics / Supply Chain Management, or related IT field. Additional preference: APICS. At least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in a SCM-, Manufacturing- or Industrial (petrochemical) environment. Beschrijving: Voor de versterking van ons European Business Support (EBS) team (bestaande uit ondermeer een andere Business Analyst (finance oriented), een Business Developer, twee E-business officers, een Compliance officer, een Facilities officer, en een Manager European Business Support) zijn wij op zoek naar een: BUSINESS ANALYST (SUPPLY CHAIN ORIENTED) Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de analyse, implementatie, standaardisatie en optimalisatie van de primaire bedrijfsprocessen van alle Europese Shimano kantoren om zo een bijdrage te leveren aan de realisatie van de strategie en doelen van de Shimano Europe Group. Hierbij zorg je tevens voor de functionele effectiviteit van applicaties die de processen ondersteunen (zoals EP1, PTS, SOD, CRM, SLIM4, Kewill, EDI). Binnen de doelstellingen ligt je taak om tussen de diverse kantoren in Europa synergie te creeëren op het gebied van processen en applicaties.
