Will participate on joint venture / merger & acquisitions teams in collaboration with the Oral Healthcare strategic marketing management in providing technology assessment information to senior management. • Will focus on open innovation (as defined by the Consumer Lifestyle CTO) and technology scouting specific to Oral Healthcare product, IDP & technology roadmaps. • Will manage Innovation & Development research activities both internal to Philips and external to 3rd parties such as universities, industry experts and others. • Evangelize innovation and help to execute processes in support of strategic growth initiatives. • Define the IP landscape territory and create barriers around our innovation to exclude competitors. • Technology scouting duties to include research, travel, professional memberships and relationships with university and technical communities. • Technology scouting to include evaluation of information regarding new technologies of potential importance to the business. • Ensure IP is proactively captured and protected during all research and development projects (internal, collaborative, and external); integrate IP management with product development project management. Ensure IP protection extends globally in alignment with global distribution and marketing plans. Conduct preliminary patent reviews for products in development (coverage under existing portfolio, prospective new patentability, Freedom to Practice). Manage all IP disclosures from Philips employees and external agents. Support legal staff with patents pending and issued. Serve as the prime interface between patent counsel and employees. Maintain the Oral Healthcare IP database. Lead the OHC Patent Review Committee and establish a Patent Advisory Board. Support IP infringement investigations. Manage OHCs Open Innovation Process, including RFP submittals and coordinate with HIIC Support contract negotiations for Open Innovation opportunities. Provide status to the CL Innovation Board regarding sustainability of current portfolio. Provide AOP and ROFO estimates for research activities. Department Within the department of Americas & Europe Specialty , Sabic is now hiring a Global Marketing Manager -Solar, within Europe. The Challenge The Solar Industry is projected to grow to $175B installed base in an environment of greater need for renewable energy driven by rising petroleum costs and rising greenhouse gas emissions. Given SABIC’s broad portfolio, application development expertise and global reach, there is an opportunity to grow our business in this industry beyond current applications. To develop and execute a strategy to do so, a global Advanced Marketing team is being established. This team will harness entrepreneurial spirit and technical savvy to bring SABIC’s 2020 vision for Solar business to reality. Develop and execute the global strategy to drive profitable growth for specialty resins in Solar. Understand emerging trends, regulatory requirements and competitive offerings. Explore, analyze and pursue the optimum route to market for Solar. Work closely with Country Leaders to develop and communicate long-term vision and strategy for assigned segments within country. Manage product positioning and MGPP for the Solar market within the Specialty SBU. Own the NPI and platform process for the introduction of novel new products within this segment to maximize ROI. Develop global fulfillment plan for assigned segments. Develop and manage Marketing Program Campaign assets, timelines, and budgets and communicate updates and objectives to stakeholders. Work closely with global sales teams, product managers, field teams and various stakeholders to communicate key marketing activities and campaigns. Work closely with GApT and Technology to generate the required application data to support the value proposition to sell effectively into the market.
