The responsibility of the Product Manager will be to develop, maintain and manage a suite of corporate products, procedures and systems from innovation and business consultation, to initiation and launch. Responsibilities include: Full (end to end) product lifecycle management Close business consultation in order to fully understand the product specification Business analysis & information gathering Product design and close consultation with the developers during development stage Product roll out and launch, including user training and assistance to ensure the product becomes well embedded Train and lead workshops for the users of these products during prelaunch, launch and post-launch phases Pro-active engage with internal stakeholders to optimise the product’s efficiency and output Maintaining the lifecycle of these products to support the strategic objectives of the organisation Daily project management Manage and oversee project risks and adapting to advice given with respect to risk mitigation Be the internal point of contact for products To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills. | Manager Financial Reporting Beschrijving: Role Summary/Purpose This is a role with a broad perspective, with significant exposure to senior Finance team members. Essential Responsibilities Statutory Audit Support Plan, coordinate and manage the statutory accounts preparation process to ensure audit work is completed efficiently and on time. Coordinate and agree audit scheduling with external auditors and internal stakeholders and ensure targets and timetables are met. Review statutory files and documentation to be provided to auditors to ensure accuracy and timeliness Drive standardization of GE ESE’s audit process in collaboration with external auditors and internal process owners to achieve sustainable reductions in audit cycle time and costs. Ensure audit queries are dealt with and resolved quickly and efficiently, assist in resolving issues when necessary. Assist in audit budget setting and monitor performance to ensure budgets are met. Explain audit progress to wider Controllership team and ESE European Controller, ensure audits are completed on plan. Own the STAT-to-GAAP reconciliation process, ensure all GAAP differences are identified and supported. Compliance Document Financial Reporting cycles and related controls. Ensure controls operate as required to ensure financial reporting integrity. Ensure Sarbanes Oxley testing is completed as required, ensure any deficiencies are mitigated. Support account reconciliations preparation and related reviews and progress-tracking. Support implementation of legal entity restructurings. Assist in supporting tax and VAT audits. Monthly Closing & Reporting and Controllership Metrics Support GE’s Intercompany Billing System during month-end close, ensure all bookings are made and intercompany differences are resolved. Assist European Consolidation & Reporting Leader in month-end close with journal review and posting, and support for automated Tax and Consolidation accounting entries. Ensure Controllership dashboards (e-compliance, account reconciliation trackers, and others) are kept up to date and accurate at all times. Plan and track progress of all recurring GE Corporate reporting requirements, ensure all deliverables are met. Drive LEAN simplification projects to deliver sustainable cycle time reductions and productivity. |
