Because of an increasing number of projects BAM International is looking for a: Your responsibilities As Piping Engineer you are responsible for the supervision of a team of site engineers for piping, welding and installation. Your main tasks and accountabilities are: Support the Construction Manager in all construction aspects, as required Prepare and maintain work preparation schedule and assist the engineering team Engineering (field) pipe welding and installation Initiate the procurement process & reporting changes to the project Keep the project team informed on all relevant aspects of technical & engineering issues that arise on the project Ensure that work packages (method statements, complete subcontracts) are timely prepared, reviewed and discussed with the Project Manager or Construction Manager. Your profile As Piping Engineer you have the following qualifications: Degree in mechanical engineering (higher vocational education at B.Sc. level) Minimum 5 years practical experience in pipe welding and installation in oil & gas industry Experience in cryogenic piping Knowledge of ASME 31.1 and 31.3 Eager to work on projects around the globe A team worker who is flexible to adapt to very diverse site circumstances Fluent in English (spoken and written) Our offer Working for BAM International means a challenging working environment where individual contributions mean a lot.
